If you follow Selena Gomez on Instagram, surely you have noticed how lately she has been using the platform to remind US citizens to go and vote in the presidential elections.

During a recent Instagram Live, he made a video call to his friend Timothée Chalamet who just then was in line to vote at Madison Square Garden in New York.

” Right now I’m literally going to vote. It’s really touching to see how many people are here. I feel like the people are motivated, ” said the 24-year-old, showing the long line to the polling stations.

The 28-year-old for her part explained that she had voted by post because she was unable to do so in person and that she was nervous about finding out who will win the elections.

Timothée Chalamet then complimented her because she is using her social media to encourage people to go and vote: ” I’m really proud of you. You’re busy with these things and I know it’s making a difference. I’m inspired .”

Selena Gomez and Timothée Chalamet starred together in the film A Rainy Day in New York, shot in 2017 but released in theaters in 2019.

Not only colleagues because during the life they made it clear that they were BFF, with her saying ” we talk often ” or with him who confidently closed the connection by saying ” I’ll call you later “.

There was also a nice little curtain when the actor got Sel wrong by giving her 29 years. Check out her nice reaction:
